The bèta for SparkleFlow 6.0 launches this month. It is the only software system in the world that brings together all information about software applications and application packaging, regardless of which systems or software are already in use.
Furthermore, the GUI of the new version is a complete makeover.
From February, version 6.0 will be available for the Beta testers, and the software will be launched at the end of Q1.
In addition to the many improvements, there will also be a unique integration with www.appdeploynews.com. Soon anyone who works with SparkleFlow can retrieve and share information about application packages without leaving SparkleFlow.
Does Sparkleflow 6 still use the same style database as previous versions or has it moved to a SQL or perhaps a Cloud based Database? We’re interested to know if SF 6 would be able to work with git repositories or cloud based storage systems as the primary app storage locations?
Yes, we still use the same way to store data. The reason for this is that we save every bit of information in one place (a portable folder), like documents, source files, project files, packages, and information in Application Details. The way it works right now is very open and allows for flexible integration in any environment and any situation. That being said we can connect to other systems to send files, documents, and information back and forth. This can be any kind of system as long as it allows any kind of connection. We already have a range of connectors, but since we build all connectors ourselves we can always create a specific connector for a specific need.
