Microsoft has released Configuration Manager Technical Preview version 2401, which includes several new features and improvements. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Improvements to the Configuration Manager console: The console now includes a new “Create Task Sequence Media” wizard that simplifies the process of creating task sequence media. Additionally, the “Import Computer Information” wizard has been updated to allow you to import computer information from a CSV file.
  • Improvements to the Configuration Manager client: The Configuration Manager client now includes a new “Software Center” that provides a more modern and user-friendly interface for users to manage their software installations. Additionally, the client now supports “Windows Hello for Business” authentication.
  • Improvements to the Configuration Manager site infrastructure: The site infrastructure now includes a new “Site Maintenance” task that allows you to delete aged task execution status messages. Additionally, the site infrastructure now supports “Azure AD web app” integration.
