About
Microsoft Office 2019 (the Second perpetual release of Office 16) is a version of Microsoft Office for both Windows and Mac. It replaced Office 2016 and was replaced by Office 2021 on October 5, 2021. It was unveiled on April 27, 2018, for Windows 10 and June 12, 2018, for macOS, and launched on September 24, 2018. Some features that had previously been restricted to Office 365 subscribers are available in this release. Office 2019 remains same major version 16 as its predecessor Office 2016. Therefore it is the second perpetual release of Office 16. Microsoft plans to end mainstream support for Office 2019 on October 10, 2023. Unlike other versions of Microsoft Office, Office 2019 will only get two years of extended support, which means that support for Office 2019 will end on the same day as support for Office 2016, and Windows 10 will end on October 14, 2025.

Configure Office2019.XML
- Download the Office 2019 Deployment Tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49117
- Download the officedeploymenttool_x-y.exe to a folder created at (C:/Downloads)
- Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
- Navigate to the C:/Downloads folder
- Enter the following command to extract the ODT files: - officedeploymenttool_x-y.exe /extract:C:/Downloads/Office2019
- Press Enter
- Select the checkbox to accept the Microsoft Software License Terms
- Click Continue
- Navigate to C:/Downloads/Office2019
- Delete the 3 existing .xml files as we will be creating our own - configuration-Office365-x64.xml - configuration-Office365-x86.xml - configuration-Office2019Enterprise.xml
- Navigate to https://config.office.com/deploymentsettings to Configure XML File
- Select the Architecture you want to deploy - 32-bit or - 64-bit
- Select Products and Apps you want to deploy - Office Suites - Office Professional Plus 2019 – Volume License or - Office Standard 2019 – Volume License - Visio - None - Visio Standard 2019 – Volume License - Visio Professional 2019 – Volume License - Project - None - Project Standard 2019 – Volume License - Project Professional 2019 – Volume License - Additional Products - None - Language Pack - Office 365 Access Runtime - Skype for Business Basic 2019 - Update Channel - Office 2019 Perpetual Enterprise Select Version - Latest - LTSB2018 Turn Apps On or Off to include or exclude them from being deployed - Access - Excel - OneDrive (Groove) - Skype for Business - OneDrive Desktop - OneNote - Outlook - PowerPoint - Publisher - Word

- Click Next - Update and Upgrade Options - Automatically check for updates (On|Off) - Uninstall any MSI versions of Office, including Visio and Project (On|Off) - Uninstall Visio (On|Off) - Uninstall Project (On|Off) - Uninstall SharePoint Designer (On|Off) - Uninstall InfoPath (On|Off) - For uninstalled MSI versions of Office, install the same languages (On|Off) - Automatically upgrade to the selected architecture (On|Off)

- Click Export Button - Select Default File Format Option - Keep Current Option - Office Open XML Formats - OpenDocument Formats
- Click OK
- Accept the terms in the license agreement on the Export Configuration to XML screen
- Set the File Name to Office2019
- Click Export
- Open Notepad or your favorite text editor

- Save the file to C:/Downloads/Office2019 and name it: Office2019_Uninstall.xml
