On the Welcome screen click "Next"
On the License Agreement screen click "Yes"
On the question about a HTTP proxy click "No"
On the Installation Folder screen click "Next"
On the Program Folder screen click "Next"
On the Untranslated Message Files screen click "Next"
On the Language screen only select "Dutch"
Click "Next"
On the Location WebClient Applications click "Next"
On the Start Copying screen click "Next"
On the Installation Completed screen click "Finish"
Open your Browser and go to the "Exact WebClient URL"
When the File download screen shows click "Open"
On the install screen click "Yes"
When the installation is complete you get the Login screen for the Exact WebClient.
Users need "Full Control" on the registry key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Exact Software
If you want you can install the optional component DB3.
If you install DB3 the Crystal Reports Runtime 13.0.16 or higher needs to be installed.
Also you need to run the regocx.cmd as Administrator to register the needed OCX files for DB3

This course teaches you how to create Basic MSI projects, which use the Windows Installer service (MSI) for the installation’s behavior and appearance. This course does not cover InstallScript MSI projects.

The course is designed for people with a general background in IT and/or Packaging. We take students with or without prior experience in App-V.
There are no hard pre-requisites to be able to take the class, however, the following are helpful:
- Knowledge and experience with general Microsoft Server Administration.
- Knowledge and experience with SQL Server Administration.
- Experience with other “packaging” techniques helpful.
- Experience with App-V Administration and Sequencing.
- Each student will require two Windows VMs.
- Our pre-class prep kit will provide detailed written instructions, a video introduction to building the VMs, and installers for the tools needed.
- Any type of hypervisor may be used, but the student must have access to create and revert to “snapshots”.
- You will need additional storage on a share for the application installers and created packages.
- It is highly recommended that students have two monitors, microphone, video camera, and earphones.
