Repackaging Tips

Pre-install the SQL native client driver
Create the ODBC User DSN connection by using the ODBC driver 11 for SQL Server
Ensure that you have the network share for data Bionumerics. E.g. P:\Bionumerics
Start the setup program
On the Welcome screen, click Next
On the EULA screen, select I accept and click Next
On the Customer screen, fill in the license info and click Next
On the Setup Type screen, select Custom and click Next to continue.
On the Destination Location screen, leave the installation directory default. For the database home directory, click custom and type P:\Bionumerics. Click Next
On the Select Features screen, only select Install application software and click Next
On the NetKey+ Connection screen, fill in the NetKey+ Server name and corresponding port number (80). Click Next
On the Ready to Install screen, click Install.
If you get a firewall message, then click OK
On the InstallShield Wizard Complete screen, click Next.
A browser screen appears with an installation summary. Close this screen.
Start the application
Click on the drawer icon to create the ODBC connections.
On the New database screen, use the exact same name for the database as the User DSN names, e.g. 16S sequentie analyse, then Click Next
On the next screen, select use existing and click Next
On the locate database screen, click Finish
On the connect to existing database screen, select Other and select the SQL Dialect; SQL Server and click OK.
On the SQL Server login screen, leave the data unchanged and click OK
On the Connect to existing database screen, click OK
On the plugins screen, click Proceed
Now the database will be opened. Click File - Exit
Repeat all the actions above till all database entries are added.
Leave the application by the door icon.
